Monthly Meeting Commitment
OCCFC monthly meetings occur on the second Friday on of the month from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm. Meetings are held through Zoom at this time. In person attendance is being considered for the near future.
Each meeting typically includes discussion among the group on issues related to forest management on the Siuslaw National Forest (SNF). Monthly meetings also provide an opportunity to connect with representatives from the SNF and hear:
- updates on SNF projects; and
- presentations on topics such as forest, water, roads, invasive weed control, and fish and wildlife management.
As an OCCFC member, you will also have the opportunity to:
- Join 1 – 2 field tours each year to sites on the SNF to learn about projects managed by the SNF; and
- Listen and participate in 1 – 2 science panels to learn about topics relevant to the SNF.
