A hub for community-based, hands-on learning of all ages
Vision
The vision for this summer is to start small. Two existing organizations have generously offered to host Tarweed for a few weekends worth of classes–the Greenbelt Land Trust at Bald Hill Farm and Highland Woodshop.
Mission
The mission of Tarweed is to tend to the land, ourselves, and each other through the sharing of practical arts and place-based skills in the heart of the Willamette Valley.
Community Education and Classes
Classes will take place on July 22/23, August 12/13, and August 26/27 and will run on a half day, full day, and weekend-long schedule, click on the link below for details about summer fun!
