Mission
The Sandy River Watershed Team (SRWT) is a community-based collaboration with a mission to develop and manage a new watershed organization to protect, restore, and heal the Sandy River Watershed and the interconnection of all its inhabitants.
Purpose
The purpose of this community-based collaboration is to coordinate action and build a shared vision for the protection, restoration, and healing of the Sandy River watershed to be a thriving, living place deeply connected to the surrounding communities. This includes leading and supporting community-driven projects; uplifting diverse cultural relations that support the river and changing those that do not; weaving connections and conversations across communities and stakeholders; and sharing the stories of the watershed.
