Mission

McKenzie Locals Helping Locals (MLHL) is a grassroots organization established by long time McKenzie area residents following the Holiday Farm Fire in September 2020. 

Purpose

MLHL provides financial assistance and economic development support to those impacted by the fire. 

About

Currently, McKenzie River Locals Helping Locals is missioned as a part of McKenzie Bible Fellowship as a 501-c3 non-profit entity. Donors may make their donations by checks made out to McKenzie Bible Fellowship (45601 McKenzie Hwy, Leaburg, OR 98489)

MLHL Board of Directors is comprised of all local residents who have a passion for the restoration of the McKenzie River area following the devastating Holiday Farm Fire of 2020. The Board is comprised of Steve Schaefers (professional local river guide), Mary Ellen Wheeler (resident), Cliff Richardson (retired McKenzie teacher/forester), Deb Wilhite (realtor), John Shama (retired business owner), Jeanne Fager (Rainbow business owner), Melanie Brite (Blue River business owner), & Sean Allensworth (resident).
